** This is just a short biographical summary – for the full story, check out this artist’s reviews! **
One of the more obscure names in the Motown story, doo-wop group the Creations recorded just one single for the label in 1962, and confusion persists over their identity – there seem to have been at least four groups with that name who were active and recording in the early Sixties, and while the names of our Creations can be gleaned from their writing credits (Robert Williams, Juan Wingard and Charles Holman), the rest of their history remains sketchy and incomplete.

Tom Lipkins was the lead singer for the Creations. I worked with him in the 1990s. Sang his ass off!
